Verdict
Ealain Aibrean started odds-on at Down Royal after a fine effort at Leopardstown but badly missed the break and could never really get serious. She weakened quickly and though it may just have been an off-day she's passed over this time. Hurryupharriet finished a good fourth in that latter event and should progress enough to get into the shake-up. Focussed had little chance with the long odds-on Fountain Of Youth at Tipperary but had better fancied rivals behind and looks to be improving. Someone obviously thinks plenty of Thrilled To Bits as she's run in two Listed contests though without showing much so a chance is taken on the newcomer VALLADO, from last year's winning stable and a half-sister to two-year-old winner Pitlochry.
