Verdict

Gordon Elliott has two entries at the head of the weights. SATOSHI hasn't quite done as well as expected after beating the smart Relegate on his hurdling debut at Punchestown though he did run well in a tough Leopardstown handicap last time. and that may be good enough. Boot Camp has won twice over hurdles but scored over fences at Limerick in October and that's where his future probably lies. Kalum River makes his handicap debut and tackles the trip for the first time though Brosna George looks more of a threat. He's been in excellent form and had plenty in hand when scoring over 2m7f here last month so a 9lb rise may not prove too much of a burden.
