Focas Mor has had just three runs and shown some promise so musn't be ignored on her handicap debut from what could turn out to be a lenient mark. NORTHERN SURPRISE has progressed with each of his six starts culminating in a comfortable victory at Sligo. He has a 6lb rise to contend with but is improving fast enough to overcome the extra. Local Flier and Jackie Ellis battled it out for a similar handicap over track and trip last month with the former just getting the verdict. The runner-up is 3lb better off for a neck but the winner wouldn't be denied and that could be the case again. Fix It was well beaten that day but the run is best ignored as he had to come very wide into the straight and his earlier run behind the selection puts him in the frame at a fair price. Share A Secret ran easily her best race to date last time but that was at Dundalk and she ran poorly on her only run on Turf.
