Cristy's Call won over hurdles at Downpatrick on Friday but had earlier finished over four lengths behind Mountmills at Dundalk. That was an improved performance by the winner and if transferring the form to Turf will be in the mix. Esharaat is still a maiden but is getting closer while ARMED GUARD has gradually dropped back to the mark he was narrowly beaten from in this last year. The latter had the consistent House Limit behind when scoring at Dundalk in December and with Pat Smullen booked can get back to winning ways. King Of Oriel came with a strong late run to score over 1m2f here last month and is only 3lb higher so must be another to consider in an open finale.
