Braeside was engaged in a Grade A handicap at Leopardstown yesterday but would likely be a warm order if turning out here as he's been racing in strong company since turning to fences. He just failed to concede 23lb to Kavanaghs Corner in a handicap here in November and the third has won subsequently. CHOUNGAYA looks the best alternative as, though he hasn't fulfilled expectations after a narrow defeat by Tornado Flyer on his chasing debut at Naas, he's been running in much better company. His stable companion Fakir was in excellent form over fences last winter but has been well beaten in both starts over fences. The lightly-raced Knockmoylan has yet to win but made a fair chasing debut over a trip too short here last month and can only improve. Winning bumper and hurdler Avellino is making her chasing debut at an advanced age.
