The Priests Leap has performed well in the conditions and was making his chasing debut when falling at Limerick. Elderado ran very well behind The Shunter at Downpatrick and the winner has given the form a boost while Gloire D'athon found 2m4f on heavy ground taxing his stamina here last time. GRAND BORNAND, a winning bumper in France, pulled hard and made mistakes on his debut for new connections at Cork but led until the last and, with that under his belt, can get off the mark. Grand Paradis has the same form figures though his bumper victory came on this track and his fourth place over timber came against strong opposition at Naas.
