Golden Wonder had looked a smart prospect in his first two races over fences and didn't show anything like his true form in a Grade 3 at Cork in November. Civena scored over 2m5f here on New Year's Day and ran surprisingly well in a Limerick Grade 2 last month. Coole Avenue is useful at his best but inconsistent, though he was on his best behaviour in testing ground at Thurles last time and though The Bishop Looney hasn't won for over two years he's dropped to a favourable mark as a consequence. Zekarya has been alternating between hurdles and fences but appears better over the bigger obstacles and has to be on the short-list. Glenquest didn't run well at Wexford last time but has now dropped to his last winning mark. CARRY EACH OTHER has returned to top form and made most over this trip at Gowran last month. He's up 7lb but still looks reasonably treated, especially with his rider's claim taken into consideration, and gets the vote.
