Blackstone had only shown moderate ability in maidens before making his handicap debut at the Curragh on Friday where he did much better to finish runner-up to Feach Ar Agaidh. He's on the same mark and can build on the run though may not be up to conceding weight to LOCAL FLIER. Tom McCourt's filly has been in excellent form in recent weeks and though she's had three quick runs she's very tough and can gain her third victory in four starts. Royal Memory gained a surprise success over better fancied rivals in a fillies' maiden at Leopardstown and will improve though this is no easy task from a mark of 89 on her handicap debut. Focussed is running very well without winning but only just failed to hold off the finishing burst of Have A Nice Day over this trip at the Curragh on Sunday. Pretty Angel appeared to find a mile too far at Limerick and it's a surprise to see her dropped 5lb in the weights.
