Winning point-to-pointer Moonshine Bay did well to score twice over hurdles as he's always looked like a chaser. Dolciano Dici scored over hurdles in France on heavy ground and may have found the going too quick on his chasing bow at Navan - he'll be better over this trip. Agent Boru scored between the flags and landed a tough handicap over timber here, when Mortal was a long way behind, and will have found 2m3f too short on his chasing debut at Naas. Any Second Now was very disappointing in that latter event as he'd been placed in Grade 1 company last season so he has questions to answer. Whisperinthebreeze showed the benefit of his opening run over fences when runner-up to Ben Dundee in what looked a strong contest at Punchestown but Art Of Security only got as far as the first on his debut over fences at Navan so may be best watched and the vote in an interesting contest goes to FLAWLESS ESCAPE, a very smart novice hurdler last season who has the makings of a potentially useful chaser.
