He didn't look overly enthusiastic when runner-up to Rivers Of Babylon at Naas last time but the winner is useful and it wasn't a bad effort. Gallope showed the benefit of a promising opening run to land a Cork maiden narrowly from Multiculture with the remainder well beaten off.
