Castlebawn West was racing in top company over hurdles in the spring and will have come on a bundle for his chasing debut here in November. His stable companion Coquin Mans won a Grade 2 over hurdles here in 2018 but didn't make the expected progress and has his first start over fences. Another from the yard, Harrie, looked a nice prospect when landing a Tramore maiden hurdle but failed to live up to expectations when tried at a much higher level. School Boy Hours didn't have much of a chance against Laurina at Gowran then fell at the first at Naas but is expected to do much better though MILAN NATIVE looks the safest option. Gordon Elliott's charge chased home the odds-on Royal Rendezvous at Thurles with the remainder well beaten and can go one better.
