Avellino has changed stables since landing bumpers here and at Down Royal then running very well in a Listed bumper at Sandown. MONTANA BELLE ran in top bumper company before making her hurdling debut at Galway in October then showed the benefit with a cracking effort behind Aussie Reigns at Thurles where errors at the last two flights didn't help. She can go one better though Toe The Line won a Listed contest on the Flat in October before beaten a short-head on her hurdling bow at Wexford. She didn't appear to stay an extra half-mile at Punchestown last time and this is her trip. West Bridge has been a bit unfortunate not to win by now though, once again, is up against strong company while Monastery, though a very impressive bumper winner at Limerick, could have been found an easier opportunity on her hurdling debut.
