In depth

Verdict

Minella Tipperary can make fitness count over Lord Of The Road, with Money Line and Blaeberry two more to mention. Minella Tipperary absolutely bolted up on his first start for Philip Hobbs at Uttoxeter, coming home 14-lengths clear of his rivals under Richard Johnson. He looks one to follow when sent chasing, but in the meantime can make the most of the weight that he receives from Lord Of The Road who has been on the easy list since being injured last year. He is also to be campaigned over fences in due course, and it will be a terrific training performance if he is spot on today. Money Line was sent off as favourite for a handicap hurdle at Carlisle recently, but was far from fluent and trailed home in sixth place. He is best watched along with Blaeberry who has it to do under topweight, with preference much for Minella Tipperary.
