Warsaw Pact should have come on plenty for his recent outing and he is hard to oppose; Master Wells is fancied to chase him home. The selection still held every chance last time at Uttoxeter with two flights of hurdles left to jump but was just found out by a lack of match fitness. He has only had two starts over obstacles to date but assuming his jumping is more fluent today, he should have no trouble seeing off this moderate bunch, as he was much the best on the flat. Jack Rolfe has claims if putting in one of his better efforts, however whilst he has been reliable on the flat and in good form of late, the same cannot be said for his short jumping career to date. Master Wells hasn't been seen over obstacles for a long time, however he has a fairly recent run on the flat to his name and should not be dismissed out of hand. Qualify didn't appear to enjoy his only experience over hurdles to date but has been in fair form on the flat, whilst Grand Sefton was moderate on the level and needs to improve for this change of tack. At a price Go Johnny Go could go well on his hurdling debut, however the ex-Sir Mark Prescott-trained Warsaw Pact is fancied to win this race for Phillip Hobbs, making it three from the last four runnings for his trainer.
