Recent Haydock winner Kalca Mome will no doubt start a hot favourite and his effort was creditable though the race was not run at a strong gallop. If the race is run at a strong pace then the experienced Picture Palace looks the type to take advantage. He was highly tried last year and ran well in some good races without getting his head in front. He should have the necessary to come good here on ground he has shown his best on. The rest look nothing special with Pele Mele having shown the best form over obstacles and could run well for his in-form handler.
