In depth

Verdict

Hansbury is a full-brother to the useful staying chaser Seven Towers and is a winning point-to-pointer in Ireland. His trainer will have him spot on here and with the ground softening all the time he has every chance of making a winning debut. However TEAMtalk preference goes to the recent hurdle winner The Villager who had a touch of class over hurdles and is expected to continue his winning run for jockey Tom Scudamore having shown he is at home on a soft surface. West Hill Rose was a more than capable hurdler last season and if taking to the larger obstacles should go well. She also runs well fresh. Another useful hurdler was Its Only Polite who showed his liking for fences when finishing a remote second at Uttoxeter on his chase debut recently. He will need to improve on that to take a hand here.
