In depth

Verdict

ERNESTO ran his best race to date over hurdles over this trip at Warwick when chasing home the useful On To Victory. A repeat of that effort would probably suffice though Castel Gandolfo has yet to finish out of the frame over timber and started favourite for his first two. Shake A Leg, a winner on the Flat in Ireland, was quite highly tried on his hurdles debut so should be capable of better having had wind surgery since.
