Mountain Leopard won on heavy going at Plumpton and Lucy Turner’s claim counters the penalty. Boulting For Glory made late headway at Wincanton on Boxing Day and this stiffer track should suit. Lamanver Storm showed more on his second start at Chepstow while Red Rookie and Big Bresil have placed in points. But they are taken on with several interesting newcomers including Mocacreme Has, who is a half-brother to three winners in France. Pol Crocan is also worth a market check but it will be a surprise if THE BIG STING doesn’t know he’s job and his rider’s claim could be a plus if earlier races have chewed up the ground.
