Verdict

Cornelius Socks is a pound out of the handicap but only weakened on the run-in at Taunton in October. HOLD ME TIGHT was staying on when fourth at Wincanton last time and appear to have the beating of Harry Haze on that run. With Demopolis probably in the last-chance saloon, Polly Gundry’s charge gets a tentative vote as Lily The Pink hasn’t really fired this season, though remains relatively unexposed. Ring The Moon ran his best race so far over timber at Ffos Las last month and a similar effort here would see him go close with Isabel Williams again claiming a valuable 7lb.
