    Verdict

    Qaspal hasn't shown a great deal in two runs over fences since returning from a lay-off, though was clear of Nobunaga at Hereford recently, so the one to beat here is probably MUSH MIR. Already successful three times over hurdles, he made all to score on his chasing bow at Warwick on New Year's Eve despite showing signs of inexperience. That will have taught him plenty and he can defy his penalty. Darna won at Lingfield in November but was then pulled up at Ludlow the following month and hasn't been seen since - he is best watched today.
