Verdict

Paul Nicholls was denied getting a run into Quid Pro Quo last week on account of the ground but may be counting his blessing as this appears to be an easier opening for this full brother to useful chaser Luzcadou to get off the mark. Moonstream and Before Dark make the most appeal out of the body of the opposition and should be monitored for signs of confidence before the off. As should Tricky Thyne, who is bred for the game and will escape the glare of publicity as he hails from one of the less fashionable yards. However, it could pay to stick with the Nicholls team for win only purposes today as the selection made a very pleasing introduction to racing at Aintree towards the end of last year. That form has worked out well in comparison to rest that is on offer natural progression should suffice Quid pro Quo in this company.
