Cobraces keeps hitting the woodwork but he wasn't disgraced in last year's Foxhunter's at Cheltenham and so the ten-year-old gets the vote today ahead of Holy Joe and Yes My Lord. The selection continues to collect silver medals on the point-to-point scene but his attitude hasn't really come into question. He stays well and having won on desperate ground in the past, today's going should not pose any problems. Holy Joe returns from an absence and must be feared given the better company that he has kept in the past. He is still relatively unexposed in this country and he is another horse who likes to really get his toe in; he will have bigger engagements in the future but should not be overlooked today despite his tendancy to need a run in the past. William Biddick is an interesting booking for Polly Gundry's Raregem, whilst Gaye Trigger has plenty of winning pointing form of late and is one to watch in the betting. Similar comments apply to Shepherds Hut, whilst Lost Time comes from a big yard and should be respected. Connections revert to cheek-pieces on Yes My Lord but he evidently is not straightforward, and so we have no qualms in returning to Cobraces as the selection.
