Longtown ran a nice race on his introduction in an amateurs’ event at Uttoxeter and should have more to offer. Coole Cody stepped up on his first run over hurdles to finish second here at the start of the month. Orchard Boy drops back into maiden company for the first time since second at Market Rasen in April while This Is It caught the eye in a bumper at Chepstow last month. OVER TO SAM is by a prolific NH sire and Harry Fry snapped him up after he easily won a Corbridge point-to-point last year. The second that day has already won at a decent level over hurdles and the six-year-old can follow suit.
