Verdict

ROYAL CHARM appears to have made a seamless transition to the chasing game after a successful spell over hurdles. Paul Nicholls' five-year-old jumped like an old hand when running away with a novice event over C&D last month and must take all the beating getting weight from all but one of his rivals. Nicholls also saddles one-time Cheltenham Festival winner Chapoturgeon but more interesting is Sports Line, who was third in a Grade One novice chase at the Punchestown Festival in April and is now with Donald McCain. Or Bleu has something to prove at this level, while Leo's Lucky Star's best form is on sharper tracks.
