Verdict

This is usually won by a fancied runner so the market should be a good guide. Fairy Pol bids to defy a penalty for winning a maiden at Towcester but the form is nothing special. BISCUIT proved one-paced in bumpers but this a more suitable test for Kim Bailey's mare and she's preferred to Southwell bumper winner Rosemary Russet. Timeforben has won a point-to-point and been placed in a bumper. She represents last year's winning trainer so can't be ignored while Alan King gives former pointer Tillythetank a debut under Rules. Waiheke hinted at ability at Ffos Las but Richard Johnson sticks with stablemate Anndarrow.
