Verdict

This looks to be between Ocean Du Moulin and Mister Gloss and the vote goes to Ruby Walsh's only mount of the meeting. The Paul Nicholls trained runner failed to fire on his chasing debut at Cheltenham but set the record straight with a facile success at Fakenham earlier this month. He didn't have a great deal to beat but he did it nicely and was the highest rated of these over hurdles. Mister Gloss arguably had more on his plate when making his chase bow at this track last time. Bar a mistake at the last, he was very impressive and he has little to find with the selection on their form over timber. Dynamic Rhythm also made a winning debut over fences but he faced nothing of the calibre of the market principals that day and may have to settle for a minor role here. Course and distance winner Extra Bold is another with more on his plate and we expect the two main protagonists to dominate this race with Ocean Du Moulin narrowly preferred.
