In depth

Verdict

Devito is likely to have come on for his recent outing however Alfadora comes here in top form and getting plenty of weight, he gets the vote to record the hat-trick. Milton Harris has his stable in good form and whilst this is a tougher race, a big run can be expected on ground that will suit as he goes on any. Irishkawa Bellevue comes here on the back of a good second over a longer trip at Plumpton and his jockey Dave Crosse should know how to approach Alfadora as he used to partner that runner regularly. Devito steps up in trip and may just find himself running on empty late on given his burden of top-weight, whilst So Brash may be more at home in a larger field as he needs a decent pace to be at his best. Shirazi would prefer the rains to come, however it is Alfadora who can score off bottom weight.
