The latest in a succession of these type of races at the track can go to IBBERTON, while Trigger The Light and Dancing Mist are others with leading claims. The selection has already got a course and distance win to his name, which came from a mark 3lb lower than today's 100. Admittedly, he doesn't win often, but he goes best on a sound or fast surface and hails from a yard getting the best out of its string at present. He was unlucky to be hampered last time, but back over this trip we will give him a tentative nod. Trigger The Light went well at Warwick last time over a similar sort of trip, and he goes well on decent ground. This extra couple of furlongs might bring about a bit more improvement, even at this age, so his challenge is feared. Dancing Mist likes it here, where he has won over three miles in a recent novices' chase. However, he was well beaten from this mark in a handicap at Newbury last time and he has a tough enough task with top weight to shoulder, so we'll oppose him for today. Trip and ground will also suit Balleygalley Bob, though he is 6lbs higher his best win and is fully exposed. Over The Creek would thrash this lot from today's mark, if able to show anything like his ability of yesteryear, but he cannot be trusted at present, and a chance is taken on Ibberton.
