Triple Chief and Seven Kingdoms are both previous course and distance winners but the former came out best when the pair clashed at Kempton back in May. Moorlands Jack looked as good as ever at Newton Abbot last month and has nothing to fear from the disappointing Third Act on that run. Barton Rose was also an easy winner recently, at Uttoxeter, but Some Finish‘s two rivals both departed early at Towcester in April. MR MEDIC never threatened in last month’s reappearance at Worcester but he’ll strip fitter here and has his sights lowered.
Barton Rose 11-2 (10-10) Chased leaders, led 3 out, clear next, comfortably, won at Uttoxeter 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Sep beating Honkytonktennessee (11-12) by 9l, 7 ran.
Moorlands Jack 6-1 (11-8) Prominent until 2nd, tracked leaders on outside, 2nd after 4 out, led after 3 out, clear when mistake next, stayed on well, won at Newton Abbot 2m 5f hcp (4) gs in Sep beating Whos De Baby (11-5) by 14l, 8 ran.
