Verdict

Fitness could be an issue with a few of these but probably not Hoke Colburn, who has gone well fresh in the past and is less exposed than many of his rivals. Steely Addition should also be ready to roll while Hidden Cargo makes his handicap debut having been placed twice in maiden and novice company. SAMSON has gone up 5lb for winning at Uttoxeter but that’s probably about right. He’s improved steadily over the summer and may have one more win in him before the handicapper takes control. Pengo's Boy has been raised a massive 11lb for winning at Newton Abbot but Khismet has place claims again.
