A big weight concession probably takes Oscar Bay out of the equation and it is NEVADA ROYALE, just 20/1 in the Royal and SunAlliance betting, who gets the confident vote. This race may all be about confidence as the selection took a nasty fall on his fencing debut last year at Newbury. He went on to win over hurdles at this track and with another summer on his back and some intensive schooling, he should take this on his way to better things. Quickbeam accomplished plenty over hurdles but presumably this will always have been the plan for this brother to Life's A Flyer, whilst Its A Classic needs watching in the betting. Spare Cash could be a contender as his debut run over fences will have been instructive however he has plenty to find with the selection on their hurdles clash back in March. Michigan D'Isop was unable to win over hurdles and it would be a surprise if he were to break his duck today, however there appears no need to desert Nevada Royale.
