Verdict

CRUZ CONTROL was well supported for a similar race at Chepstow but found one too good. He can lose his maiden tag though Feast was also well backed at Southwell but wasn't suited by a steadily-run race and ran green so should have come on a bundle. Having A Barney wasn't inconvenienced by testing ground at Ffos Las and is another certain to have benefited from the experience but winning point-to-pointer Craan Run isn't likely to come into her own until facing obstacles.
