Verdict

Last month’s Taunton runner-up Port Or Starboard must have claims in a modest finale but Army Of One, placed twice on the Flat last spring, is now 0-25 and has had a break. Wells Glory has an even longer absence to overcome but Girandole could play a part if on a going day. WATCHOUTITSCOOKIE was prominent for a long way last time at Taunton and this is an even weaker affair so he gets a tentative vote, despite being a pound out of the handicap. Prince Rhinegold beat poor opposition here two weeks ago but is the only one with recent winning form.
