Verdict

PUB TALK has been very consistent and won a similar race over the course and distance as a two-year-old. He's in for the maximum claiming price so carries top weight but looks the one to beat. Western Cape twice ran very well here in October and has joined Denis Hogan. He's also in here with a big weight but looks to have some scope. His trainer also saddles the filly American In Paris, a winner in the UK and likely to be suited by stepping up to this trip. Redshore City has been showing good pace over 6f and looks best of the remainder.
