Verdict

Peter's Two Fun looked a typically astute claim from overseas for Martin Pipe but he looked to lose his way after some eye-catching performances early last season. He does seem to go well at Exeter but his ability to get this extended trip has to be of some concern. The TEAMtalk nod is given to Sammy Samba at minimal stakes. A winner here on firm ground last week, he reportedly has suffered breathing problems in the past but he did it well enough in the end. Given his lowly rating, he is at the right end of the handicap and trainer, Philip Hobbs should have a line of form on Spanish Archer as Dantie Boy beat him at Worcester a couple of weeks ago. Precious Bane steps up in trip today and needs to improve to win this. Today's trip is probably on the sharp side for Happy Hussar.
