Ile de Paris has come up against two decent types in his career and can get his head in front today, with Classic China and Ojays Alibi set to fight out the places. From the in form Phillip Hobbs yard, Ile de Paris sets a high standard here having finished runner up to Harapour here, and previously was just touched off by the Martin Pipe trained Control Man at Newton Abbot. There appears to be nothing of that class in this event and Ile de Paris could be a good thing. If the selection under performs Classic China may be the one to benefit if reproducing her Lingfield form in November when she easily beat Rose Tea. Of the others Ojays Alibi has some decent form over this course, although this is a step up in trip. In conclusion it is a quite moderate event and Ile de Paris has shown enough promise in two races to warrant a confident vote.
