Smart Tiger makes more appeal than stablemate Kyathos in the finale, with Breaking Ball and Fleur Babe the only others to consider. Milton Harris holds the key to this contest, and the market is likely to reveal that Smart Tiger will be the more preferred of his pair. With the able Johnny Farrelly on board, the five-year-old will get the strong ride that he needs, as he has his own mind about the game sometimes. Successful in selling company here the time before last, he has little to beat and although not too reliable, has the form to deliver today at least. Like the selection, Kyathos is also German-bred, and won on fast ground on the Flat. His form is distinctly moderate as well, but he can fill one of the places. Irish bumper winner Breaking Ball has been off for two years, and Fleur Babe has only had three career outings, but both hail from stables that will place them to good effect in time. Smart Tiger is not that smart, but should be good enough here.
