Verdict
Story of Friends has shown some ability the last twice but still looks vulnerable. Mario De Pail also shaped nicely enough first time up at Plumpton and should progress from that satisfactory debut for Sam Thomas, whilst Fu Fu may well appreciate this stiffer track in comparison to the sharpness of Taunton. He's an each-way option but there look to be some potentially interesting newcomers on show, namely Huccaby, Rectory Oak and FOGGY CREEK. As is often the case with such contests, the market should help to sort out what is expected but the Pauling yard have a decent record in bumpers and hopefully the French-bred gelding will be well found in the betting.
