Verdict

Jaunty Soria is consistent and represents a solid option but nevertheless remains vulnerable to an improver. Giving Back is hard to assess as she was well beaten in Listed and Grade 2 bumpers but showed enough ability to put her head in front in a couple of National Hunt Flat races. This looks a good starting point for her hurdling career and she is greatly respected. However, BOSSINEY BAY already has a win on the Flat to her name when with Hughie Morrison and showed plenty of promise last time when runner-up in a Huntingdon bumper. She's going the right way, receives a 4lb age allowance and could make her Flat speed tell if this turns into a tactical affair.
