Verdict

Petite Power bids for the hat-trick after victories at Cheltenham and Uttoxeter. This longer trip should be within his range but he’s never won off a mark this high. Morney Wing also looks in the handicapper’s grip and DANCING SHADOW has been raised 3lb since a second here over 3m. But the latter will strip fitter today and twice ran well over course and distance last season. As he’s won over 4m, he’ll be staying on today when others have cried enough. Stockburn looks a stayer in the making and there are also possibilities about Lord Getaway. Nativegetaway has a bit to prove in this company, however, and remains winless. Mustmeetalady and Belle Empress are held on the form book
