In depth

Verdict

Deauville Dancer did well last season but hasn’t raced since April and usually needs a run, though Ben Jones’ claim is a plus. Keep Moving came good at Wincanton having fallen when in contention here on his reappearance. He’s been raised 6lb but should be thereabouts again with a clear round. Luckofthedraw goes well fresh and won on his reappearance for the second year running at Market Rasen in September but didn’t fare as well on a return visit. Just Don't Ask should improve on his third at Wetherby but ESPOIR DE GUYE (NAP) came up against a potentially smart novice at Chepstow. The third has franked the form since and Venetia Williams’ youngster can go one better today receiving weight all round.
