A small but select field go to post for this novice chase and the TEAMtalk selection is Epervier d'Or who made a pleasing debut over fences at Wetherby when making all and jumping well throughout, and with his weight for age allowances he will be hard to beat. Indalo rates the main danger as he was a fair second although well beaten behind Keen Leader at Haydock last time and is proven on the ground but the concession of 11lbs to Epervier d'Or may be beyond him. Tamango is also worthy of consideration on his hurdle form but was prone to the odd error over hurdles and will have to be foot perfect on this his chasing debut to score in what is a fairly hot race. Colombian Green was also a fair hurdler but his yard has not had a winner for a long time and is readily opposed. Aka International and Henry Isaiah need to improve on all known form to take a hand in the finish.
