Bullionaire has obviously had his problems but Harry Fry’s six-year-old could yet come good. Eritage was an early casualty at Wincanton but has presumably had plenty of schooling since. Harry Senior looked in need of the run at Chepstow so his effort was very encouraging but he’ll probably need further. Philip Hobbs has won this in two of the last three years and may hold the key again with SPORTING JOHN, who was added to the J P McManus portfolio after running away with a maiden point at Borris House in March. Bumper winner Kissesforkatie has placed in both starts so far over timber but drops in trip.
