In depth

Verdict

Tim Vaughan will be hopeful that either Mist The Boat, successful at Taunton just over three weeks ago, or Swift Escape, third on his debut at Ffos Las in January, can land this finale but clearly much more was expected of MILLIE O'BRIEN on her introduction at Newbury as she went off favourite. She refused to settle that day and weakened quickly turning for home but that experience will have taught her plenty and she can recoup losses here. I'm A Gangster has hinted at ability, as has Rita Speak, but newcomers Thegaygardener and Boogey On Down are probably best watched.
