In depth

Verdict

Nevada Royale gets the confident vote in the opener with Spare Cash and Team Chase rating the main dangers. The selection is held in high regard and would have won a chase at Chepstow but for falling. His shrewd connections are now keeping his novice status in that sphere, he returns to hurdles under conditions that suit and need only put in a clear round to score. Spare Cash rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Oscar Bay but he has had plenty of chances and often finds less than expected off the bridal and at likely odds he is taken on. Team Chaser is another worthy of respect on his latest fifth behind the highly regarded Big Fella Thanks he is sure to have come on for the run and should be watched in the market. Of the others Master John showed some ability a couple of seasons ago but has shown little since and for the winner we return to Nevada Royale who is taken to win this before going on to better things.
