Verdict

There are some dour stayers in this including Dancing Shadow, who finished third last year and has placed at Chepstow and Sandown this season - he finished ahead of Gwencily Berbas last time. Good Man Vinnie hinted at a revival at Uttoxeter and Aaron Lad was third over an extended 3m5f at Cartmel in May. Montanna was third in the Durham National in October and Uallrightharry finished second in the 2020 Sussex National. On Call has been in fine form at Chepstow but NORMANDY SOLDIER kept pulling out more when holding off Storm Force Ben over 3m here last month and Ben Godfrey’s claim means that he is receiving weight all round in this. Young Offender won over 3m2f at Chepstow on his reappearance but the second has been beaten again since. Poppa Poutine may be best of the rest.
