Verdict

It’s three years since On The Road was last in the winner’s enclosure but he’s now 16lb lower and he was only beaten a head at Chepstow last month in first-time blinkers. The 10-year-old has obvious claims while Triple Chief is a previous course and distance who is usually thereabouts on his favourite track. TUDORS TREASURE landed a double here around this time last year. He’s had just the three runs this term and has run well on each occasion so can get back on the winning trail. Parlour Maid and Ballybough Nora have both had their problems lately while Celma Des Bois will need to be at his best to win this after a very long lay-off.
