MENORAH should prove a high-class recruit to the chasing ranks if able to match his exploits over timber. Winner of the Supreme Novices' Hurdle in 2010, he was fifth in last season's Champion Hurdle and certainly has the size and scope to jump fences. Sam Winner seems the most likely to take advantage if the selection doesn't come up to scratch as he receives a four-year-old's allowance and was no slouch over the smaller obstacles, finishing fourth in the Triumph Hurdle in March. Shammick Boy is another nice prospect but could find his two rivals today a little too classy over this trip on his reappearance.
