      CAPITAL GUARANTEE bids for a hat-trick raised only 2lb for winning at Thirsk and is preferred to Desert Falcon. The latter missed out on a treble when second at Lingfield and cheekpieces are fitted while Amathus landed a double on the Turf course at Lingfield earlier. Shoot To Kill scored over a longer trip at Brighton and Secret Strength is not out of this either.
