Verdict

Several won their penultimate starts with Wild Lion preferred to Sir Winston on his victory at York in June. But soft ground looked a legitimate excuse for G’DAAY’s (NAP) defeat at Chester and he gets another chance having scored over track and trip before that. Marlay Park has something to find with the selection while Chartwell House looks in the handicapper’s grip but New Business has plenty of scope on only his second start in a handicap.
